The Electoral Commission is considering a request made under Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993 to cancel the registration of the following political party and logo:

Party:  NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC PARTY
Applicant:  Darren Jones, Party Secretary

Registration of a political party or a political party logo must be cancelled if the Commission is satisfied that the request to cancel registration is made:

• on behalf of the party; and
• by the Party Secretary or by a Member of Parliament who is a current member of the party.
