This is an online version of the pocket flip booklet published in Feb '09 continuing the series of post-election compendiums published by the Electoral Commission since the first MMP election in 1996. 

It gives a one-stop overview of New Zealand's electoral framework and key data from Election '08.

The booklet and its data are also provided in the panel at right on this page as downloadable pdf and data files to suit different needs.

Significant other datasets of election result information are available as webpages and for download as .csv files (which can be manipulated in Excel and other programs) on the election results website.

The printed booklet is being distributed (during Mar '09) to and through: registrars of electors, public and tertiary libraries, secondary school social science departments, citizens advice bureaux, community law centres, MPs, and political party national secretaries.
