The Statement of Intent is a key accountability document.  It was tabled in parliament by the Minister of Justice on 10 November 2009. 

It sets out the outcomes that the Electoral Commission contributes to, the context in which it operates, the intervention logic it uses to develop and deliver programmes, anticipated activities for the period 2009-2014, and anticipated deliverables and financial performance in 2009/10.
